James is a busy up-and-coming film composer based in North Yorkshire, United Kingdom. Born in Cornwall, he began performing and writing music from an early age, before becoming a highly sought-after session guitarist.

He has a bachelors degree in Jazz Performance, and a masters degree in Orchestration for media.

A natural explorer of sound, harmony and musical colors, he has dedicated well over a decade to his composition journey whether working with guitars, synthesisers, or writing parts for live orchestra for a truly authentic film score. To date, James has had the pleasure of working on a variety of films, including 11 features, over twenty shorts as well as series Podcasts, Commercial content and video games.
