James is a busy up-and-coming film composer based in Leeds, United Kingdom. Born in Cornwall, he began performing and writing music from an early age. While completing his bachelors degree he gained a vast insight into the inner workings of music, and the music industry itself. Since then, he has worked hard as a performing musician and composer, taking on a wide variety of projects from film, marketing videos and video games. In 2019, he completed a masters degree in composition and orchestration for film/TV and games, through which he has honed his ability to write parts for live sessions for a truly authentic film score, and creating Hollywood-quality tracks from his studio in the north of the UK. To date, James has had the pleasure of working on a variety of films, including two features, a multitude of shorts as well as marketing videos and independent video games.
